Immerse Gamepack by Embody

Immerse Gamepack by Embody is now available in Dying Light 2: Stay Human and Dying Light: The Beast. Created in collaboration with Embody and Techland’s audio team, this new feature brings personalized 360° spatial audio to the world of Dying Light, helping you hear the danger before it finds you.

In Dying Light, sound is survival. With Immerse Gamepack, every snarl, rooftop step, scream, and snap of a twig is given greater direction and precision, helping you pinpoint where the Infected are coming from – whether they’re creeping up behind you, prowling above you, or closing in from the darkness.

Enhanced Headphone Mode

Immerse Gamepack is available through the new Enhanced Headphone Mode setting. To activate it, go to Settings, select Audio, and then enable Enhanced Headphone Mode.

The feature is optional. If Enhanced Headphone Mode is disabled, the game’s default audio experience remains unchanged.

Try It Free for 14 Days

Every player can try Immerse Gamepack free for 14 days from launch. The trial includes full, unrestricted access in both Dying Light 2: Stay Human and Dying Light: The Beast.

No credit card is required, and you won’t be charged when the trial ends. There are no automatic charges, subscriptions, or hidden fees.

Lifetime License

Want to keep using personalized spatial audio? After the trial, you can purchase a lifetime license for a one-time payment of $19.99 USD.

There is no subscription. The license remains active for as long as you play Dying Light.

One license covers both games on your chosen platform. Licenses are platform-specific, so a separate license is required for each platform: PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC. On PC, Immerse Gamepack is supported through Steam.

How It Works

Immerse Gamepack creates a personalized HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Function) based on your unique ear anatomy and specific headphone model. Why does this matter? Because each person hears sound differently,  we make a model of how you hear sound in the real world in order to create a mathematical representation of the way you would hear directional sounds in the game. The profile is generated using a quick selfie video scan of your head and ears, together with the model of headphones you use. This allows the spatial audio experience to be tailored to your unique hearing profile.

No webcam is required. Simply scan the QR code shown in-game with your phone to complete the scan. No app is needed, and your scan is stored separately from your account information.

Immerse Gamepack works with any headphones, including earbuds. No special headphones or additional hardware are required.

Hear More Fear

With personalized spatial audio, you can track threats above, below, behind, and around you in real time. Hear a Volatile stalking the rooftops of Villedor or an Infected moving through the foliage of Castor Woods before you even see them.

Turn up the volume, activate Enhanced Headphone Mode, and prepare to Hear More Fear.
